Norwich vs Aston Villa Prediction
Daniel Farke’s men have not been able to keep up with the pace of the top flight, and are sporting just two wins under their belt from their last seven games. The newly-promoted side have been dismal, to say the least, and apart from a few sporadic individual flashes of brilliance, the hosts have nothing to brag about.
However, it needs saying that the Canaries have been on much more promising run on home soil, with both of their wins so far coming at Carrow Road. Their last home game was certainly one to remember as well as they handed the reigning champions their first defeat of the season in a fierce five-goal thriller.
Furthermore, their counterparts for the week have been struggling the find the back of the net, let alone clinch the win, in their respective outings. The visitors have not garnered a single point from their trips on the road in the new campaign and have scored just thrice whilst conceding seven.
To make matter even worse for the Villa faithful, the away side have not been able to take down Norwich in any of their previous four visits to this venue. Given the poor form that they are on at the moment, Norwich are the favorites to come away with all three points in this one.
Additionally, the hosts have had their scoring boots on in their clashes here, scoring no less than two goals or more in each of their past three matchups. Taking into account that their last two games in a running have also featured a total of three goals or more on the final scorecards, a high scoring clash is certainly in the reckoning.
