West Ham vs Crystal Palace Prediction
The Hammers have certainly risen from the ashes of the humiliating 5-0 drubbing they received at the hands of the reigning champions, that too in front of their home supporters. Nevertheless, the home team have avoided in their last six top-flight matchups, and have picked up the win thrice in the process as well.
It is also worth mentioning that West Ham have been a very convincing bunch in their recent clashes on home soil and have come out on top with a 2-0 scorecard against both Norwich and Manchester United in their last two.
On the other hand, Crystal Palace have been alternating between wins and losses in their respective outings and have managed to taste success just once in their last three trips on the road. Their previous away clash saw them thrashed by Spurs with four unanswered goals in the back of their net, prior to which they were able to edge it past the Red Devils by a narrow 2-1 scoreline.
In addition, Palace have not been faring well in their previous visits to this venue either and have secured the bragging rights just twice in their last eight trips here. Given the admirable form that West ham are boasting at home, Crystal Palace can rule out any hopes of picking up even a point on Saturday.
Furthermore, four out of their last five head to head meetings here have seen goals down either end. Considering that the visitors found the back of the net twice already in their outings so far, expect Crystal Palace to deprive the Hammers of a clean sheet in this one.
