Bolton might sit rock bottom of the League One standings, but have tightened up defensively since the arrival of Keith Hill and are unbeaten at home since August. However, Hills men are still 18 points from safety and if they want any chance of pulling off this great escape, they must get that first victory sooner rather than later.
Blackpool make the short trip to their Lancashire rivals looking to continue their excellent start to the campaign. The Seasiders have lost just once on the road in the league this season, but are winless on their previous 12 trips to Bolton (D4, L8).
- Keith Hill could name the same line-up that started Bolton’s narrow defeat at Portsmouth last weekend.
- Blackpool’s extended break since their victory against Blackpool last Friday, means that injured trio Nathan Delfouneso, Sullay Kaikai and Joe Nuttall could all return to the matchday squad.
